Binkies for All

Oh, hai. Hope your Thor’s day is going well.

This morning it was pretty chilly, so mom came up with a solution.

Binkys for All

Binkies for All

Little C helped mom with an editing project this afternoon.

Mom likes to spread out her style guides on the bed, because her desk is tiny. Little C kept her style guides company while she worked.

I asked mom what today’s writing prompt was, and she said it reads, “Someone or something you can’t communicate with through writing (a baby, a pet, an object) can understand every single word you write today, for one day only. What do you tell them?”

Well, first of all, I can read, so I don’t know why they included pets in that list, but if I were going to write something to communicate with an inanimate object today, I think I’d write two letters:

Dear bowl,
Please stay full of treats.
All the time.

Dear tuna,
I love you.
Come back soon.

We asked Little C what he’d say, and he was happy just to have crunchies, so he made a happy lion today to communicate with his bowl.

And, in case you’re wondering, Little C and I slept most of the day, so we should have some pretty rockin’ races later.

Until then, we hope you stay warm and that your mom gives you extra binkies tonight, so you feel loved.
